Online training "How to host an interactive virtual or hybrid meeting"

We are happy to continue our Online Training Series on the topic of Online Moderation, scheduled on May 10th 2022 10:00-12:00 and 13:00-15:00, with a Masterclass on May 24th 2022 10:00-12:00.

Switching from face-2-face to virtual meetings early in 2020, we have since embraced digital collaboration in our COST Action. We have learned new skills, and everyone did a great job keeping our heads above water. Due to the still ongoing pandemic, and the current developments in Ukraine, most of the upcoming COST Action activities might still be implemented as a virtual, or at least hybrid event.
At the same time, virtual and hybrid meetings, which do solve the above-mentioned challenges, lack the social interaction and networking aspect crucial to all COST Actions. 

Thus, the main objectives of the training series are to 

a. learn about interactive hosting and moderation design, in a virtual and hybrid setting, to be able to facilitate engaging and at the same time sociable online events

b. get to know and use interactive methods & virtual collaboration platforms to successfully engage an audience

c. practice and manifest the skills of interactive moderation for future virtual events within the scope of the COST Action and beyond.
